Aligned Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Administrator for a well respected company. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Network Administrator to support and enhance IT infrastructure. This role provides advanced support to Network Administrators, manages the daily operations of network systems, and contributes to the development and implementation of new technologies in collaboration with IT leadership. Responsibilities include maintaining network performance, securing systems, and ensuring high availability through continuous monitoring and preventative action.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international stakeholders to establish network specifications, administer routers, and configure firewalls

• Monitor key performance indicators such as availability, utilization, throughput, and latency to maintain network uptime above 95%

• Perform regular maintenance on network servers, backups, and hardware, while ensuring antivirus software and network access policies are up to date and secure

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support to the IT Service Desk, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues

• Lead IT operations for new site openings, closures, and relocations; coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely equipment procurement and setup

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, security protocols, ISP information, and access logs; conduct regular audits of user permissions

• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with leadership on system architecture and project execution under high-pressure situations

• Ensure compliance with security and operational policies through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–10 years of IT experience with expertise in network design, implementation, LAN/WAN technologies, and performance optimization

• Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation , with the ability to provide high-level support and maintain service quality

• Proven ability in project and change management , including strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills , capable of working with cross-functional teams and presenting technical information clearly

• Hands-on experience with MS Active Directory, MS Office 365, FortiGate, Fortinet switches, VLANs, Citrix, Cato, RingCentral, Barramundi Endpoint Security, and TeamViewer

• Working knowledge of ITIL best practices , with a focus on structured IT service management and continuous process improvement
