Job Title: Chief AI Officer

Location: USA Remote

Position Overview: You will be Akka’s resident AI expert tasked with enabling our enterprise customers to accelerate their AI transformation journeys.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and deliver AI consulting offerings to our clients. Akka’s AI consulting will include discovery and advisory on how they can execute AI-driven transformations of IT and their business. These offerings will often be done in conjunction with our partners, who provide advisory on large-scale AI transformation initiatives.
  2. Maintain a “Latest in AI” analysis and market presentation that offers a summary and review of the latest advancements for agentic AI across the global market.
  3. Maintain and deliver agentic AI stories for IT executives — stories of how they executed agentic AI transformations designed to ideate and inspire IT executives into the art of the possible. 

Qualifications:

1. An expert on, or an incredible ** provable ** overwhelming ** desire to become an expert on agentic AI. This includes understanding the nuances of LLMs, micro-reinforcement learning, ambient AI, streaming memory systems, augmenting real-time audio, designing networks of agents that plan and adapt, evaluation strategies, scaling AI, AI flow tracing, semantic memory, orchestration systems, and safety controls.

2. An obsessive, relentless approach to communicating, messaging, and positioning emerging technology towards architects, CIOs, developers, and IT delivery executives. If you aren't thrilled by the idea of creating compelling narratives in slides, video, blogs, and papers, then you will not enjoy this role.

3. That you relish the dopamine rush of crushing our rivals, which are well-funded startups that we are already beating, and we will leapfrog. 

4. That you become an indispensable part of the AI and agentic community: standards evolution, technology partnerships, thought leadership, and connected to others that are pushing the industry forward.
