+ We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality structural steel and miscellaneous metals drawings for fabrication and construction. This role requires close coordination with engineering, project management, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and constructability.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare detailed drawings for structures and components.
+ Prepare detailed structural steel and miscellaneous metal shop and erection drawings using CAD software.
+ Interpret design drawings, specifications, and scope of work to generate accurate 2D and 3D models.
+ Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve design issues and implement required changes.
+ Create and maintain drawing packages and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project-specific requirements.
+ Coordinate with fabrication and field teams to provide support and resolve detailing-related issues.
+ Maintain revision control and accurate record-keeping of drawings and models
+ Collaborate with team members and operations leadership to gather information and specifications for project demands.
+ Review and interpret project specific drawings.
+ Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
+ Provide support where needed during fabrication and installation phases.
+ Assess and resolve design related issues that may occur during fabrication process.
+ This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
+ Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Minimum one (1) year directly related structural detailer experience.
+ Must be skilled in AutoCAD.
+ Knowledge of industrial construction and familiarity with all equipment, programs, and functions related to the position.
+ Driver's license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under vehicle insurance policy preferred.
**Preferred**
+ Experience with Tekla Structures or equivalent 3D structural modeling software is strongly preferred.
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD platforms is a plus.
+ Knowledge of AISC standards and detailing practices.
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. The shifts vary from 8hr to 12hr and from 5 days to 7 days a week depending on work load.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear, and is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Steel toed boots are required on the job.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
