Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Duration: 13 Weeks contract

Location: Miles City, Montana

Shift:- 5x8 Hour Day Shifts

Pay:

Local: $2,720 weekly include stipend

REQUIREMENT: ARRT license, BLS

Job Duties:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Review and verify prescriptions, diagnoses, charts, and patient identification.
• Educate and support patients throughout their treatment plan, reinforcing physician/nurse guidance.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, including immobilization devices, field settings, and other necessary accessories.
• Simulate treatment plans and assist in developing blocks, port films, and x-rays.
• Accurately document all treatment parameters including MU calculations, beam energy, cumulative doses, diagrams, and billing data.
• Monitor patient conditions during treatment and report any unusual reactions or issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the treatment unit; manage inventory and stock supplies as needed.
• Complete daily, progress, and discharge notes in compliance with departmental standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives; identify and escalate concerns as needed.
• Follow and promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and adhere to service behavior standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant Radiation Therapy experience.

Education Requirements :

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.

Licensure & Certifications:

• BLS Certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
• ARRT Registered in Radiation Therapy (RT(T))
