Our award-winning client, nationally recognized for delivering top-tier healthcare, is actively hiring two experienced Radiation Therapists to join their growing oncology department in Las Cruces, NM (88001) . This is a high-impact opportunity for individuals passionate about precision treatment and patient-centered care .
Administer radiation therapy treatments using advanced linear accelerators, ensuring accurate and safe dose delivery
Perform simulation procedures and fabricate individualized treatment devices to maximize targeting accuracy
Complete daily QA checks on linear accelerators and CT simulators to maintain operational integrity and safety
Document procedures, patient status, and treatment plans in the EMR system, including notes and scheduling
Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to monitor and adjust care plans
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure continuity of patient care
Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing education and emotional support
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
Licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of New Mexico
CPR Certification required
3–5 years of experience in a radiation oncology setting preferred
Proven knowledge of radiation safety, QA protocols, and advanced equipment use
Strong communication skills and empathy in patient care environments
Self-motivated with excellent technical attention to detail
Reliable and capable of working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and proactive in patient engagement and education
Calm under pressure and adaptable in dynamic clinical situations
