We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** CPMC-California Pacific Med Center - Mission Bernal **Position Overview:** Performs assignments to patients, employees and visitors within the realm of Transport Service. This includes transporting patients and providing mail services, e.g. the processing of the outgoing mail and the sorting/ distribution of the incoming and departmental mail by the internal courier services. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** + _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ + HS Diploma: GED or equivalent or equivalent education/experience **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** + Transporter certification through the CPMC program preferred. + DL-Valid Drivers License Class C **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** + Transport experience in a healthcare setting preferred. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Good driving record and valid California driver's license. + Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or push approximately 300 lbs. + Computer skills desired. **Job Shift:** Evenings **Schedule:** Part Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Friday, Monday, Thursday, Tuesday, Wednesday **Weekend Requirements:** None **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 28 **Employee Status:** Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
