This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to surgical patients, collaborating with the surgical team and adhering to hospital policies and procedures. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Assisting the surgical team with procedures and patient care.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and condition.
- Administering medications as ordered.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintaining a safe and clean surgical environment.
- Following hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of hospital experience (preferably in an operating room setting).
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required.
- The RN may be required to float between similar units within the hospital.
- Block scheduling may be considered at the manager's discretion.
- The hospital is an acute care facility with 42 staffed beds.
