Job Description

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for a local client in Anderson, SC. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply.

Position Summary:

• Correct all mechanical malfunctions of the looms, make periodic maintenance inspections on looms within the assignment, replace broken or worn parts as necessary, diagnose machine problems and make adjustments and repairs. There is some weaving involved as well.

• Read, understand, and follow written instructions, weave drafts, Construction Sheets
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Writing
• Basic math
• Bending and standing
• Good vision
• Understand technical manual
• Standard learning period of 24 weeks OJT, supervised
• Ability to lift light to heavy weights
• Serve as an On The Job Instructor; Periodically train others to perform job.
