Peerless Saw is a 100% employee-owned manufacturing company celebrating 94 years in business. We are searching for a dependable, initiative-taking, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician with a Strong Mechanical Aptitude to join our team in a manufacturing environment located in Groveport, Ohio.


This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to keeping our production equipment operating efficiently and safely. Hours are an 8-hour shift, working Monday - Friday 3 pm-11 pm and willingness to work overtime as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used.
• Respond quickly to production equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production to improve equipment reliability.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude: ability to disassemble, diagnose, and repair mechanical components.
• Familiarity with tools such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical and control systems is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
