Job Description

Job Summary: Central GMC of Norwood is seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. As a General Motors Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. Responsibilities:

Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose any issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
Complete repairs and maintenance tasks according to dealership and manufacturer standards
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates of repair costs
Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Continuously update technical knowledge by completing training programs and staying up-to-date on manufacturer guidelines
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Technician
General Motors/ASE certifications preferred but not required
Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
