Job Description

Job Summary: Central GMC of Norwood is seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. As a General Motors Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose any issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Complete repairs and maintenance tasks according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates of repair costs
  • Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Continuously update technical knowledge by completing training programs and staying up-to-date on manufacturer guidelines
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Technician
  • General Motors/ASE certifications preferred but not required
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
