Job Description

CNC Operator

• Review job packets for setups and job specific information
• Prepare the machine for the each job
• Follow programs and verify accuracy through either a test run (if possible) or verifying accuracy as job is being worked on
• Continually monitor job and ensure accuracy and speeds
• Maintain records and document any issues
• Continually improve the process by finding, documenting and implementing (both independently and with the help of the team)
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment
• Make management aware of any issues with the machine or consumables

General Skills

• Ability to load and execute CNC programs.
• Able to read blueprints (preferred)
• Proficient in math (algebra, geometry, etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Adhere to Safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability
• Ideally 1 year of experience or trade school (but not required)
