Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician to support two locations in Auburn Hills: the corporate office and a research and development facility. This role will provide essential support both in-person (2-3 days per week) and remotely. As a key member of the IT team, you will assist end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth operations for all staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 3 Desktop Support for both hardware and software issues.
Perform system migrations, installations, and troubleshooting for Windows 10/7 systems.
Manage and resolve support requests via ServiceNow and other tools.
Maintain and support Active Directory, ensuring user access and security.
Collaborate with users to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks efficiently.
Offer excellent customer service in a corporate environment, helping to solve complex technical challenges.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Desktop Support and IT troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/7, SCCM, and ServiceNow.
Experience in enterprise-level environments, with the ability to manage multiple sites and user needs.
Excellent customer service skills with a solution-oriented approach.
Strong experience with Active Directory and hardware troubleshooting.
Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with Executive Support is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in both corporate office and research/development environments.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
Work Environment:
You'll be supporting a dynamic, corporate setting with a mix of technical challenges. This role requires both on-site (2-3 days per week) and remote work, as you'll be assisting staff at two facilities that are approximately 7 miles apart.
