Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified attorney to join our team with a focus on private equity and M&A matters . The ideal candidate will have significant experience in drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other related documents. This role involves working closely with private equity fund and portfolio company clients in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC/LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents.
  • Support day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.
  • Provide strategic business judgment and lead client business teams.
  • Manage projects and collaborate effectively with team members to meet client goals.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

 

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of private equity and M&A experience, preferably with prior large firm experience.
  • Strong drafting, writing, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience in handling private equity transactions and client-facing work.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Business and strategic judgment.

 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual pay range: $310,000 - $365,000 (dependent on experience and location).
